Linda Knutson
LINDA KNUTSON - Obituary
Linda Carol Knutson, born October 3, 1953, to Clifford and Marion Knutson, passed away quietly after bravely battling a long illness May 8, 2011.
Linda was born in Orange Park, Fla., and graduated from Orange Park High School in 1971. She moved to the Grand Canyon area from Tennessee in 1978 and landed a job at Phantom Ranch.
After moving to Tusayan in 1982, she worked many years in aviation, both in "Tusaigon," at Madison Aviation, Kenai Helicopters, and Grand Canyon Helicopters; and at Grand Canyon Airport with Scenic Airlines and Air Nevada.
She also tended bar for several years at the then-legendary Squire Fun Center and later at Hit the Spot, and in the interim, she worked a season at Kantishna Roadhouse in Denali National Park, Alaska.
Her career continued with ten years at the Red Feather Lodge.
She is survived by her partner John Moran, her mother, her sister Julie West, and her brothers Gregory, Douglas, and Carl. Linda was preceded in death by her father, and her brother Paul.
She dearly loved Tusayan, the Grand Canyon, and her many friends and extended family in Northern Arizona. She is loved by many and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Calvin White
Calvin White, a well-known resident of Orange Park passed away on Monday, April 20, 2009. He lived most of his life in Orange Park and was a dedicated employee for 34 years with Iluka Resources. He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Andre White, Kimberly White; sisters, Eddie Kendrick (James), Nora Bakon (Joe), Carolyn Naranjo, Sandra Floyd, Lois Ann White; brothers, John White (Mary Alice), Charlie White (Wanda), Darrell White (Gwendolyn), other relatives, extended family and sorrowful friends. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetary, Orange Park, FL. (Per Florida Times-Union)

SANFORD Vicki - Lynn Enos Sanford, age 53, of Jacksonville, died on Saturday, August 2, 2006 at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville. She had lived most of her life in the Jacksonville area, and was a 1971 graduate of Orange Park High School and a 1973 graduate of Florida Junior College Nursing School. She worked as a nurse for many years at University Hospital in Jacksonville and most recently for Duval County in Public Nursing. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, at Geneva Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations may be made to: Community Hospice of N.E. Florida, The Angel Tree Project, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257. She is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, Jim Sanford, stepchildren, Zach and Lauren, her mother, Barbara Enos, sisters, Kathy Brenan Tracy Capua and Lori Jones. Jeff Weisenford
WEISENFORD Jeffrey - Steven Weisenford, age 51, died at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Tuesday, August 23, 2005, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born October 25, 1953, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to the late John and Josephine Weisenford. He moved to Orange Park, Florida where he graduated from Orange Park High School in 1971. Jeff is survived by his sisters, JoAnn and Janet; his brotherinlaw, P.J.; his nieces, Josey and Celia; and his nephew, Jack of Orlando, Florida. Jeff is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Wilma and John Manley of West Palm Peach, Florida. Memorial services will be held at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park on Saturday, August 27, 2005, at 9:00 am. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. following the memorial services.
Dale Walker
WALKER - Dale Walker passed away suddenly in Key Largo on June 26, 1998. He was born in Long Beach, California January 2, 1952. He was a 1971 graduate of Orange Park High. He attended Brooks Photography Institute and received a bachelor of Science from Chico State. For the past ten years, Dale was active in the Clay County Republican Party. An eagle scout himself, he continued to work with Troop 25 of Orange Park First United Methodist Church. At the time of his death he was attending a scouting activity. He was currently employed by Clay County Association for the retarded in Green Cove Springs. He is survived by his wife, Emily Adams Walker and his two sons, Jason and Christopher Walker. Also surviving are his father, Harry Walker, his paternal grandmother, Mary Jane Moore, and his two brothers Wayne and Raymond Walker. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 30, 6-8PM at the Rivermead Funeral Home, 950 Park Avenue, Orange Park. Funeral services will be held July 1, Wednesday, 2PM at Orange Park United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop 25 of Orange Park First Untied Methodist Church.
